Message: Lordy lordy. I was shakin in my boots just reading about "Fang". I'll take the rattlesnake grass over the rattlesnake any day. You are a hero to man, dogs, snakes, everybody. Thank you for not killing him. By the way - do you think rattlesnake grass will grow in the mid-west? If so, please send me some seeds when it dries.

Message: You got rattlesnake balls, girl~!! Did you grab him by his head or his neck to get him in the trash can ? Im asking Santa for one of them snake grabbers for ....soon~!! And whats a rattlesnake vaccination ?
When I lived in Florida those snakes killed my sheep, my bosses 14 dogs and several cattle, all in one month. They travel in PAIRS~!
I aimed for right behind his head (didn't want to squish his head) and got a little more snake than intended - a few bends of snakes. But the grippers held it all even though he wriggled around. They work GREAT! The rattlesnake vaccination is just that - a vaccine that gives the dog some immunity against the venom. It all depends, however, on where the dog is bitten, how much venom is released, etc. Ask your vet about it. When Hellan got bitten last, it was right in the nose and her reaction was pretty mild - I credit the vaccine for that, but who knows (nose)?

Message: You are a woman after my own heart. Folks think I'm out of my mind when I move snakes instead of kill them. They are such fabulous hunters!

Message: Yup, you are nuts. Just like my brother, who has caught them his whole life and turned them in to make anti-venom. Then at about 55, he finally got bit and darned near died! Of course, he doesn't use "tools". He sneaks up on them with his bare hands. Guess that makes him even crazier than you!
