Message:  Hi... got your message on my site (www.gitzengirl.blogspot.com). Thanks for directing me here... the animal rescues are amazing. My pup is so intensely attached to me it kills me to think of something like that happening to him. I can't even take him to be groomed (I do it myself at home) because it takes him days to settle down from being away for those few hours.  It breaks my heart for those animals and their owners, but it's beautiful to see how much you all care for them. Great work.

The unfortunate reality is that there are so many animals in these situations (hundreds) that there is usually no way for me to keep track of individuals - I just drop them off at the shelter and move on.  I do know that when I went back looking for the parrot, it had gone from the shelter to a hospital.  I'm sure the kitty did just fine - spirits were good, she was eating, drinking, purring and looking for affection.
