Message:  I have tears in my eyes---from relief and being touched by Fifinella's family picture--thanks for starting the message with a cut to the end that all was ok.  I'm sending the blog to my sister in law who lives in DC--and girl friends in general. I'm really slack about leaving my purse on the passenger seat with open doors and windows while I pump gas.  Will use this as a reminder to be more careful.  Love you guys.

Message:  Thank the Lord she is safe!  Now, from an old banker lady, please tell her to put a fraud alert on her credit report so when the (so and so people... thinking bad word here) who have written down all her numbers and securitiy codes and social security number and driver's license number and address have tried to use her credit over the internet, she will be immediately notified.  It will stay on there for 90 days, then she can renew it.  (It's pretty common for them to wait and use it after expiration).  My cousin had this happened and they bought a house and resold it in her name!  And for next time,(hopefully not) photocopy everything she puts into her wallet, front and back. It makes it easier to report.  Also, when you report it, get the credit card company on a land line and the police where she is on her cell, then the credit card company can tell you where the credit cards are being used as they are using them (usually to fill up the gas tank of everyone they know because they now have the credit card and her zip code off of the driver's license).  We almost caught the guys that got my daughters because I had them both on the phone at once.  They used it to fill up 5 gas tanks in the first 15 minutes.  Ah, but the important thing is... SHE'S SAFE!!!!  Praise the Lord!

Thank you, thank you, thank you (everyone) for your kind thoughts.  Fifinella knew better than to have her social security number and passwords with her, so that's one good thing.  The fraud alert was made immediately, but thanks for the tip on renewing it after 90 days!
