Message:  this might as well be a small book on the hurricane Katrina. Watch somebody snap it up, that is When it gets to the right source.A job well done even if it brought back all your emotions.

Message:  Thanks Tammy for revisiting Katrina and thank you for all you did for us here in Slidell.  You amazed me then and ever since.  I remember well that steak dinner,it made me cry then to sit in that old familiar restaurant like life was normal, and it made me cry again reading what it meant to you!  You're the best, thanks for everything!

Message:  Tammy, What a wonderful and generous thing to do.  I remember the year after Katrina hit New Orleans and the MS Gulf Coast - it was devastating.  You are to be commended for what you do.

Message:  Tammy, I know - this is my second comment but I just had to write and and say that is an extraordinarily fantastic account of the aftermath of Katrina.  I came back today to finish reading and I have to say that it has everything: humor, somber reflections, great pictures, poignancy and one comes away from it full of hope and warmth.  The world is, indeed, a great place when people like you and the volunteers and those you encounter inhabit it. God bless you!  OK, now I'm crying, too!!!!!
